AMSUTAS (AMPICILLIN SULBACTAM)
Ampicillin and sulbactam combination is used to treat bacterial infections in many different parts of the body.
Ampicillin and sulbactam combination is an antibiotic that belongs to the group of medicines known as penicillin and beta-lactamase inhibitors. It works by killing the bacteria and preventing their growth.
AZIMIN (AZITHROMYCIN DIHYDRATE)
Azithromycin is an azalide, derived from erythromycin , and a member of a subclass of macrolide antibiotics with bactericidal and bacteriostatic activities.
It's widely used to treat chest infections such as pneumonia, infections of the nose and throat such as sinus infection (sinusitis), skin infections, Lyme disease, and some sexually transmitted infections.
Azithromycin is used in children, often to treat ear infections or chest infections.
DORIPENEM
Doripenem monohydrate 500mg, is a synthetic broad-spectrum carbapenem antibiotic structurally related to beta-lactam antibiotics. It is indicated for the treatment of infections caused by susceptible microorganisms in the following conditions:
Nosocomial pneumonia (Including ventilator associated pneumonia)
Complicated intra-abdominal infection and complicated urinary tract Infection including pyelonephritis.
EPIROX (CEFUROXIME SODIUM)
Cefuroxime 1.5gm injection is used to treat certain infections caused by bacteria including pneumonia and other lower respiratory tract (lung) infections; meningitis (infection of the membranes that surround the brain and spinal cord); gonorrhea (a sexually transmitted disease); and skin, blood, bone, joint, and urinary tract infections. Cefuroxime injection may also be used before, during, and sometimes for a brief period after surgery in order to prevent the patient from getting an infection. Cefuroxime injection is in a class of medications called cephalosporin antibiotics. It works by killing bacteria.
MERONE (MEROPENEM)
Indicated for:
Complicated skin and skin structure infections (adult patients and pediatric patients 3 months of age and older only).
Complicated intra-abdominal infections (adult and pediatric patients)
Bacterial meningitis (pediatric patients 3 months of age and older only)
STAFIPIME (CEFEPIME HCL)
Cefepime is a fourth-generation cephalosporin antibiotic. Cefepime has an extended spectrum of activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, with greater activity against both types of organism than third-generation agents.
TIGEC (TIGECYCLINE)
Tigecycline is the first drug in the glycylcycline class of antibiotics. Although it is structurally related to minocycline, alterations to the molecule resulted in its expanded spectrum of activity and decreased susceptibility to the development of resistance when compared with other tetracycline antibiotics
TOZARIN(PIPERACILLIN SODIUM + TAZOBACTAM SODIUM)
Piperacillin/tazobactam is a beta-lactam/beta-lactamase inhibitor combination with a broad spectrum of antibacterial activity encompassing most Gram-positive and Gram-negative aerobic bacteria and anaerobic bacteria, including many pathogens producing beta-lactamases.
